Plot/storyline- Throne of glass is a story about a young assassin who is imprisoned by the king but has a chance to earn back her freedom by competing in the king’s competition to become his champion after 4 years of service she will be free. Things start to change when her competitors start winding up dead and she has to find and eliminate the evil from the castle as well as win the competition.

Characters- Celaena- is such a strong, independent character, she is only 17 when imprisoned at such a young age she became one of the biggest threats to the king and Adarlan’s greatest assassin. she’s an absolutely loveable character so powerful and a complete badass who is so witty you can’t help but love her
Dorian- The crown prince of Adarlan is such a snobby, sarcastic guy that you just love especially his banter with Celaena which is hilarious, though he is scared of his father and is not as outspoken as she is.
Chaol- the Captain of the Guard, he’s hard on the outside but once the story develops you see a softer side to him. You see his loyalty towards his best friend and Prince.
Nehemia- The Princess from Ellywe who befriends Celaena and they become best friends, realizing that they have a lot in common as in they’re both complete badass and that Nehemia is not afraid to speak her mind, she can be hard to like at first, however, you can see her friendship with Celaena is true.

Writing- Sarah J Maas is such a wonderful writer and the characters she writes are always so bold and badass especially the females, she is amazing at creating such amazing worlds that keep to enticed and wanting to know more and the storyline is so well thought out
